Thank you for supporting our Adopt a Cow Program. By participating in this initiative, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which govern your involvement and outline your rights and responsibilities as an adopter.
1. Program Overview
The Adopt a Cow Program is an initiative of Lotus Dairy Farm aimed at improving community nutrition, supporting education, and promoting sustainable agriculture. Through tiered adoption plans, donors can sponsor the care of dairy cows, with proceeds going to feeding programs, scholarships, and rural development projects.
2. Adoption Tiers and Contributions
Participants may select from three adoption levels:
- Milk Guardian
- Dairy Champion
- Community Hero
Each tier corresponds to a set donation amount and benefits. Donations are used for cow care (feeding, veterinary services, shelter), educational scholarships, and community development. All contributions are non-refundable and considered charitable gifts.
3. Payment and Donation Terms
- Payment is required at the time of adoption via our secure online platform.
- Monthly or annual contributions may be offered, depending on the selected plan.
- All donations are final and non-transferable.
- Receipts will be issued for each payment. For tax-deductible receipts, please consult your local tax laws.
4. Use of Funds
Lotus Dairy Farm ensures that all funds are allocated according to the stated goals of the program:
- Nutritional support for school children.
- Educational scholarships and learning initiatives.
- Sustainable livelihoods for farmers.
- Community infrastructure and agricultural training programs.
While we aim to honor your intended impact, all donations will be used where most needed to ensure program sustainability and flexibility.
5. Adoption Kits and Recognition
Each adopter receives a personalized Adoption Kit, which may include:
- A digital or printed certificate of adoption.
- Information about your adopted cow’s role.
- Periodic impact updates via email or video, depending on the plan selected.
We reserve the right to modify the format and content of these materials based on availability and program needs.
6. Cow Ownership and Care
Adopters do not receive ownership rights to the cow. All animals remain under the care and ownership of Lotus Dairy Farm. The term “adopt” is symbolic and intended to represent your financial support of the program and its beneficiaries.
7. Communication and Updates
Adopters will receive regular updates through email or other digital platforms. Updates may include:
- Newsletters and impact stories.
- Photos and videos of program activities.
- Reports on community projects.
We do not guarantee updates at fixed intervals but aim to provide meaningful content throughout your sponsorship period.
8. Privacy and Data Use
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except as necessary to fulfill the program’s functions (e.g., payment processing, communication).
9. Corporate and Group Sponsorships
Businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate. For bulk adoptions or corporate sponsorship packages, please contact our team directly for a tailored agreement.
10. Program Modifications and Termination
Lotus Dairy Farm reserves the right to:
- Adjust program details or benefits.
- Substitute resources or materials.
- Discontinue the program or any of its components due to unforeseen circumstances or organizational needs.
In such events, we will communicate changes promptly via your registered contact details.
11. Limitation of Liability
Lotus Dairy Farm and its affiliates are not liable for:
Misinterpretation of symbolic adoption or expectations of ownership.
Delays or failure in providing updates due to circumstances beyond our control.
Losses or damages arising from your participation in the program.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from this program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zambales, Philippines.
