As 2025 began, we chose to welcome the new year in the most meaningful way we know—by showing up for communities who need love, support, and a reminder that they are not alone.
A Day of Giving, Laughter, and Hope
On January 3, the quiet barangay of Sitio Bagong Silang, San Pablo, Castillejos, Zambales came alive with the sound of laughter, music, and joy. Our first outreach program of 2025 brought smiles to 100 families, each receiving food packs to help brighten the start of their year.
But this day was about more than just giving essentials—it was about human connection. We shared a joyful time with over 300 children and elders, creating lasting memories through a feeding program featuring fresh milk and cupcakes, and fun-filled games like newspaper dance, “bring me,” and stop dance. In these small yet meaningful moments, we saw how joy can ripple through an entire community.
The Team Behind the Community Outreach Program in Zambales
This event was made possible by a team united in compassion. The program was spearheaded by Strobel Foundation President Ulrich Strobel, in full collaboration with Lotus Foundation, Inc. (Philippines), under the leadership of Chairperson Dr. Teresa Valenton-Yap and Board Members Venerico C. Pineda and Erlynne T. Sarte.
We were honored by the presence of Dr. Gerd Cyrus of Lotus Hilfsprogramme, E.V. (Germany), whose enduring partnership continues to strengthen our shared mission. And none of this would have been possible without our selfless volunteers and staff—many of whom rose before dawn, packed donations by hand, and made the day special with patience, warmth, and grace.
